We all are looking for some beauty care tips that are effective and inexpensive. Here I am going to share a few beauty tips which are completely natural. You can always be sure about these natural beauty tips as they will never give any side effects. Remember, natural things are not like chemical thus don’t show instant effect but as they say “Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet”, you will get enduring results.

Tips for Hair care:
Pollution, sun and dirt make your hair dry and dull. The market is now flooded with chemical shampoos and conditioners which claim to make hair shiny instantly but in the long run they harm your hair.
To get a natural shine and silkiness to your hair, use Acacia concinna (Shikakai). Boil a handful of Acacia concinna and soap nut in a half liter water for 15 minutes. Apply the water abstract on the scalp and hair at normal temperature. Wash it  off after about 30 minutes. This will strengthen your hair roots and will bring the shine you always wanted.
Regular oiling is a grandma’s best tip for healthy hair. Don’t forget it. Use warm oil to massage the roots of your hair and leave it overnight or for at least 3-4 hours before you shampoo it.

Natural Skin Care:

For Face:
To keep your skin healthy and glowing, it is quite necessary to keep it clean. The easiest way to keep your skin clean is to increase your water intakes. Normally we drink 2-3 liters of water a day. Increasing it to 3-4 liters a day will produce extra sweat which will excrete all blood impurities and make the skin cleaner and shinier.
·         Fresh cream is the best natural moisturizer for skin. If you have dry skin problem, apply some fresh cream on your skin and wash off with water after an hour.
It’s good to exfoliate skin on a regular note. You can find scrubs in different skin care brands but if you wish to use a natural one, here are some,
·         Oatmeal mixed with warm water or yogurt is a very nice and mild scrub. Just add a bit of warm water to oatmeal to create a thick mixture and rub it on your face gently. You will experience smooth skin after you wash it off.
·         Another quick and effective scrub that is found right in your kitchen is baking soda. Yes! Baking soda. Just take 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 1 tablespoon full of water. The quantity should be sufficient for your face. If you wish to increase, do it proportionally. Now, blend it to make a thick paste. Scrub your face with it in a rotating movement. This scrub will drive away all the dead skin.

For Hands, Arms and Legs:
All of us do a hell lot of things for face while avoid arms and legs totally and dead skin cells keep depositing here. Thank God a very simple recipe is there to scrub away all dead cells from your body skin. Mix 4 tablespoon of sugar with equal amount of olive oil. Use this mixture to polish your arms and legs. Sugar will work as a natural exfoliate whereas olive oil will help to restore moisture and shine of the skin.
These simple steps of self care are going to work as magic spell. Try them and share your experience. These are just a few tips. Keep reading, there’s a lot more coming.

As winters start, you see loads of television commercials of skin moisturizers and body lotions. We actually get influenced by these commercial ads and add them to our shopping list. But very few of these products give you the skin you want in winters, the rest just tail the effect off in an hour or so. So, why waste money on these junks? Let’s try some effective dry skin treatments at home that won’t burn a hole in your pocket and give a baby soft glowing skin. Oh yes, I have dry skin problem too and I have tried all these remedies myself and found them amazing.

Honey – Honey is well known for its antibacterial properties and its use in different cooking recipes but this easily available ingredient in your kitchen can make your dry, rough patchy skin smooth and velvety.

To make moisturizing cleansing milk with honey, mix 2 tablespoon of olive oil or almond oil with half tablespoon of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of honey. This natural cleansing milk not only cleanses your face, also helps to lock the moisture and heal the dryness. The remaining mixture can be preserved for up to 1 week.

Done with cleansing? Let’s make a mask with honey and banana. The banana is highly moisturizing whereas honey locks the moisture which makes the perfect combination for a deep nourishing face pack. Mash half a banana and add 3 tablespoon of honey in it. Blend it to make a fine paste and apply onto your face. Keep this for about 30 minutes. Rinse with plain water. You will forget the dry face and experience a silky hydrated skin.

If you suffer from extremely dry skin or have dry patches on the face, just take 2-3 tablespoon of honey and heat it for about 30 seconds. Apply this on your face. Keep it for 15-20 minutes and wash with normal water. You can use this remedy on other areas of the skin as well.

Fresh Cream – Tired of trying different cold creams?  Try this simple tip . Apply some fresh cream on your face and leave for half an hour before washing it off with some mild face wash. Trust me,  no cold cream is as good as fresh milk cream. This won’t even make your skin look sticky or dark.  I have discovered this to be the best treatment for dry skin.

Glycerin – An effective and inexpensive body lotion can be made at home with glycerin. You will need glycerin, lemon juice and some rose water for this. Mix all three things in equal proportion and that’s it. This is the best dry skin lotion I have found. Apply this on all over your face, arms and legs. Best is to apply it before bed to let it work overnight. This can be stored in a bottle for 2-3 weeks. Lemon not only works as a preservative, it also helps in reducing scars and bringing a glow to your skin. Rosewater makes the skin softer and glycerin fulfills the requirement of moisture.

See how simple ingredients can make amazing treatments for dry skin? Try them and I am sure you will come back to thank me for sharing them.
